Yuvraj Singh suffering from lung cancer?

According to Yuvraj Singh's family the tumors in the lung due to be involved in one-day series against West Indies decided.

Yuvraj Singh's mother Shabnam Singh said that “During the World Cup, Yuvraj found himself constantly troubled by bouts of coughing and vomiting. Reports and scans showed that he was dealing with something really serious. A golf-ball sized lump was found in his left lung and doctors advised us to go for more scans,”

Yuvraj's condition improved after the initial treatment because of which he was able to go to England. Between the finger injury he had to return from a trip to India. After returning home from a medical check up once he got the disease. After which it was clear that it is not so deadly tumor that was previously estimated.
The good news is that it is a non-malignant tumour (non-cancerous) and the player, following extensive treatment, is on the road to full recovery.
Yuvraj had asked the selectors not to consider him for the ODI series until he was fully fit.
